"Life is a game, play it.”

Mother Teresa

At first glance, that quote might sound a little… casual. A game? Really? Isn’t life supposed to be serious, structured, and full of responsibilities? Sure—but what if we’ve been taking it *too* seriously all along? ๐ŸŽฏ

Think about it. When you play a game, you show up with energy, curiosity, and just enough courage to take risks. My son is especially ready for his daily video game fix. You don’t expect perfection—you expect progress. You try, you fail, you laugh, and you try again. That’s exactly how life works… except we forget to *play*. ๐Ÿ˜„

Seeing life as a game has the wonderful effect of quickly reducing stress. You begin to view mistakes as a necessary part of the process rather than something to be afraid of. As they say, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." ๐Ÿ€ Failure is now merely a missed opportunity in a lengthy, thrilling contest rather than a fatal end.

Let's face it: the random nature of games makes them enjoyable. You would likely become disinterested really fast if you knew exactly how everything would turn out. The same is true in life. Your tale is made intriguing by its twists, shocks, and even setbacks. "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity," as another proverb reminds us. ๐Ÿ’ก

But here’s where most people get stuck: they forget they’re *allowed* to enjoy the process. They treat every moment like a final exam instead of an adventure. Deadlines, expectations, comparisons—it all piles up until life feels less like a game and more like a grind.

So how do we flip the script?

Start your day with an attitude of playfulness. Treat tasks as if they were levels to beat. Reward minor victories with points on a scoreboard. Additionally, instead of giving up when things don't go your way, take a step back and try again. ๐ŸŽฎ

Additionally, keep in mind that playing games with others is preferable. Make connections, cultivate partnerships, and encourage your coworkers. Life is a shared experience rather than a solitary endeavor. As they say, "Happiness is only real when shared." ❤️

Most importantly, give yourself permission to *enjoy* the journey. Laugh more. Stress less. Take chances. Be curious. Life isn’t about playing perfectly—it’s about playing fully.

So the next time things feel overwhelming, pause and ask yourself: Am I playing the game, or just worrying about the score?

Because at the end of the day, the goal isn’t just to win—it’s to *live*. ๐ŸŒŸ
