This brings to light the profound impact parents have on their children through their actions and behaviors. What is suggested is that parental influence can extend well beyond verbal communication; children learn by monitoring their parents' attitudes, choices, and interactions with others. For one thing this highlights the significance of parental role modeling. Parents can become primary examples for their children, shaping their values, beliefs, and social behaviors. So it is crucial that parents be mindful of the behaviours they exhibit, instead of focusing on the advice they give to their children. 

Another point underscores the idea that children are constantly absorbing information from their surroundings, especially from their parents. Parental actions serve as a blueprint for their children's behaviour since parents are powerful influencers. If parents display positive traits such as empathy, respect, and kindness, children are more likely to internalize these qualities. But most importantly, negative behaviors and attitudes can also be mirrored if children observe them in their parents.

In essence, this quote serves as a reminder to myself and all parents to be conscious of the examples they set, as actions speak louder than words and this profoundly impacts their children's development and character.
