What can be entertained by this quote is that even odds suggest a balanced probability of success and failure. There are situations where the potential outcome is significant or the effort required is reasonable, which makes taking the chance to be worthwhile. We should be encouraged to take risks, embrace opportunities, and learn from both successes and failures. The experience we gain from trying, even when the odds are uncertain, can lead to valuable lessons and personal growth, making it a more compelling reason to go ahead and take the leap. 

I have taken that leap on numerous occasions. The fear is always there which holds me back in the beginning. Once I go past the fear, I wonder what took me so long to move forward.
